Welcome to Irons in the Fire clubhouse restaurant nestled in the historic and beautiful San Clemente Municipal Golf Course. What began as a labor of love for golf course designer Billy Bell, this classic public golf course built in 1920 has blossomed into a full size, full service golf destination known as the Crown Jewel of the Pacific.

The $5 million clubhouse renovation resulted in a brand new beautiful Spanish colonial-style restaurant which has become Irons in the Fire, the third establishment for entrepreneur and restaurant survivalist, Dave Donaldson.

A perfect compliment to the popular BeachFire Bar & Grill restaurants in San Clemente and Ladera Ranch, Irons will meet the needs of golfers first while providing a great dining experience for everyone offering a 6-hour daily breakfast event and savory in-house smoked meats and fish for lunch and dinner. Our legendary Sunday Brunch on holidays, Happy Hour weekdays and Live Music on the Patio weekend evenings are not to be missed! With indoor seating up to 250 guests, Irons is perfect for elegant weddings, community events and golf tournaments. The wrap-around patio with fire pit boasting breathtaking lush green golf course and blue ocean views makes Irons the best golf course restaurant in Orange County!

We honor the past and say a fond farewell to the old clubhouse and restaurant, Bogey's, where the community as well as Dave and his family, shared many great memories. Looking to the future, Dave assembled a great team for Irons. Dave's brother, Mark Donaldson, is General Manager and a successful plein air artist. Mark lived in the Caribbean for the past 15 years and moved back to California to help Dave grow the business. His awesome, dedicated team includes our NEW CHEF VINCENT LUIS and managers Wendy Henderson and Melissa Hundley. Together with their staff, a relaxed, comfortable place to enjoy great food and excellent service is created for you to enjoy

Things definitely are heatin' up at Irons with the addition of our new Iron Chef Vincent Luis.  Chef Vincent brings years of experience as well as some delicious family recipes with Hawaiian and Asian influences to the Irons menus as well as our catering menus.  On your next visit, be sure to ask to meet him.  He's got a personality that matches his incredible cooking skills!  Join us to welcome Chef Vincent to the Irons team!
